This client engaged Ridge as part of a massive, multi-year effort to build management practices needed to regain industry dominance.
BUSINESS NEED:
Climate surveys indicated that ineffective management was negatively affecting productivity, employee morale, and its reputation as an employer of choice.
RIDGE SOLUTION:
We built a customized Supervisor Effectiveness curriculum that blended client-specific content with our People Skills courseware. To make sure the training addressed real-world issues, Ridge deployed a master trainer who spent three months on-site researching, observing, and facilitating supervisory interactions. Once the training was designed, we ran select line managers through The Craft of Training® and certified them to train 2,000 supervisors in skills targeted at reversing the survey trends.
CLIENT RESULTS:
The transformation process is not yet complete, but ongoing climate surveys indicate improvement in supervisor effectiveness and the bottom-line value derived from these improvements.
