Reinforcement Ridge's Extended Learning program is a series of e-mail messages that will help Ridge workshop participants exercise the skills they've learned. Each message includes a task or reminder that will help participants identify opportunities in your day to:
Research has shown that it takes 4-6 weeks for new habits to replace old ones. With Extended Learning participants can spend the coming weeks exploring those elements of the course that will benefit them, and work on integrating the skills into their personal work style. We know that people are busy. Making room for another task isn't easy. The good news is that each day's email will be brief, and the "task of the day" won't add significantly to peoples' to-do lists (hopefully using these skills will actually streamline to-do lists!). These reminders may be as simple as following-up on an agreement you've made, or reflecting during a meeting. In all cases, these are tasks that participants will be able to accomplish as they move through their day. Participants can choose which of the course modules they would like to receive messages for and the message frequency they prefer. They can also choose to stop or postpone the messages at any time. Extended Learning TryoutsExtended Learning is normally available only to people who have taken courses for Ridge Training. However, a special abbreviated sample versions of Extended Learning are now available for anyone to try out.
